About this Project
For the Sisters of Saint Mary’s in Beaverton, OR, we undertook a full roofline-up rebuild of their chimney chase to address significant wear and structural issues. The original wood chase suffered from peeling paint, rotting wood, and trim boards that were separating from the structure, compromising both safety and curb appeal.
Our team replaced the old chase siding with high-quality cedar boards, chosen for their durability and natural resistance to the harsh Oregon weather. We carefully caulked and sealed all seams to ensure the structure is fully weatherproof and protected against moisture infiltration.
The newly rebuilt wood chase not only restores structural integrity but also dramatically improves the building’s exterior appearance, giving it a polished, well-maintained look that complements the property’s character.
Although the beautiful cedar siding had to be painted over to match the building, the project guarantees long-term protection and a fresh, professional finish that will stand up to years of exposure.
