Pressure Washing the Chimney

We pressure washed the chimney to remove moss, dirt, and biological growth that naturally accumulate in damp environments. Cleaning the masonry not only improves appearance, but also allows us to clearly evaluate the condition of the brick and mortar before sealing.

Sealing the Chimney

After cleaning, we applied a professional masonry sealer designed to repel water while still allowing the chimney to breathe. Sealing helps prevent moisture absorption, reduces freeze-thaw damage, and protects the chimney from long-term deterioration caused by constant rain.

Flashing & Custom Cap Protection

We inspected the chimney flashing to ensure it was properly sealed at the roofline and installed a custom chimney cap to keep rain, debris, and animals out of the flue. Together, these components provide added protection against leaks and help keep the chimney functioning safely and efficiently.
